My reflection: Beware of the white man article

When I first started to read the article written by Michael Moore I thought that he was making a judgment about white men due to his own experiences. As I reed the article I did find that some of his points were valid. Unfortunately, racial discrimination occurs in the United States. People don’t like to talk about it because we think that it’s not politically correct to discuss. I often wonder how much the media feeds in to this. It appears to me that the media focuses on a person’s race when discussing a headline on the news. Even though I agree with a lot of what Michael Moore had to say, I can not sit back and think that everything that has gone wrong in this country should be blamed on the white man. I think that there are situations that occur in life were people need to take responsibility for their own actions. Yes things happen were other people are to blame, I just don’t think that everything that goes wrong in this country should be blamed on the white man. I think that as Americans we like to play “the blame game.” Instead of focusing so much time on blaming others for what goes wrong, we should look at ourselves to see what we can change.
