Michael Moore article

Michael Moore's article "Beware of the White Man", has a lot of valid points and although he writes it in a funny way many of those points are true. I guess his point is to take a stand about what is happening in our nation about unfairness and racism through his witty comments. We pretty much know this is happening and sadly we stand back and watch while we try to get "around" the injustice system making our way through what we call a "decent" life and leave the others to fend for themselves. To read this from a white man's point of view though, like Michael Moore, does not come across as something we should consider as very important because he writes it with humor, therefore not getting the message across. But blaming others or ourselves does not change anything anyway. Yes, so we know that the "whites" have the better jobs, better salaries, live in better communities and there children go to better school systems. Is this really a reason for us to allow our own children to disobey laws, not do well in school, not be respectful to others, not wear decent clothes, not say no to drugs, and drop out of school and become parents before 16? I mean really, is this the reason, because whites are messed up, corrupt and down right mean (so the article states)? Don't you think we are some how collaborating with them and allowing them to be unfair to us, maybe forever if we don't stop now to pitty ourselves?. Think, because I believe we are. We don't stand up for what is right, and we (by we, I mean Blacks and Hispanics) are not teaching our children to strive for goals of a better race, to leave behind hate, and empower ourselves to start a rippling effect of a better nation. Let's teach our children to respect others, and become educated as their first fight towards rightousness.
