Be aware of the white man.

I agree with Michael Moore and his view of this society still been racist, I feel it is as racist as it can be, the only difference today from years ago is that we have learned to live around those that we feel inferior to, but always maintaining a distance. I am a Latina married to a white man so I get to see the other side of the face, and it is so common to hear my mother in law say things like "ohh be careful around there, there is a like of black people in that town", so yes their is racism and its sad to say it but its not going anywere. And its not a matter of color, its not because the black man shots the white man, its becasue we never hear about the white man that shots the black, why say that? It would be to admitt that there is not much difference between blacks and whites. We have to be conscious that racism is an evil part of our society and all we can do as teachers, parents and part of this society is not to promote it, to teach children that we are all the same, and maybe one day this world might be less racist and our kids would have better opportunities and equal rights.
