Fairness
In another class I have we were discussing fairness for special populations and I thought it applied to this class. The point was made that fairness is based on an individual basis not class basis. It isn't fair to expect a student with a special need to function at the same level as mainstreamed students. Modifications should be made and the other students in the class do not need to be made aware of the modifications. Being fair is doing what it takes to get a child from point A to point B, even if it is something that other students do not need.
