I enjoyed my third day at Conackamack Middle School in Piscataway. We were in the media center/library the whole day listening to students present their poems. The 7th grade English classes that I'm working with had a poetry project to do which was to create a book of 4-6 poems using at least three different types of poems. All of the presentations went well and the students' books were amazing! I love this idea because it allows the students to display their creative and imaginative sides. It also teaches them about various types of poetry as well as helping them build confidence to talk in front of groups of people.
